NHS Dentist fees help please?

I had some replacement fillings done in March and an extraction. I got an infection and had a course of antibiotics.

I was told the sensitivity i was still suffering with would settle eventually, but after it became obvious that it wasn't going I returned to the dentist and was told "my" dentist had left.

I saw another practitioner there and he gave me more antibiotics and wanted to charge me again for removing the filling and replacing it as he said there must be a little gap causing the sensitivity.

Do I really have to pay again for another dentist at the same practice to make good the mess the first dentist left me with?

NHS Dentist fees help please?
it is not good conduct from the practice it is not your fault that the dentist has left your filling is cover for the first year so no you should not have to pay again
Reply:Talk to a lawyer You should not have to pay. If you don't have a lawyer, and can't afford one, go to the ones that advertise "no fee unless you win". THEY MAY ADVISE YOU TO SUE FOR YOUR PAIN AND SUFFERING.
Reply:A smart dentist wouldn't charge you to redo faulty work that was done in his/her office. But do you really want to continue a relationship with a dentist who isn't willing to take care of you and do what is right when you're having a problem?
Reply:Yes.
