Dentist- have you ever seen?

i was sat in the dentist today awaiting my sentence in the chair. i was watching all the people walking by and realised that as they approached the dentist you could see they were checking their teeth with their tongue. maybe to see if they need the dentist. it happened on numerous times and also when they came back to pass it again. so i just wondered how many of you walk pass a dentist and check your teeth. i think i may of done it myself and i hate the place.

I was waiting for a prescription a while ago in the supermarket, The Receptionists were sharing a joke.


They let me in on it; opposite their counter was the toothpaste/ toothbrush display, apparantly a huge percentage of customers suck their teeth as they go past, some actually start scraping them with their finger-nail!

Don't mind going to him at all - he's a lovely guy. Only problem with him is that he talks while working on, say a filling, you have a mouthful of equipment, drill, dentists fingers, etc, and he asks a question!

Reply:I work in a dentist office and plenty of people do it. I had someone argue with me saying he couldnt feel the cavity so how could he have one. Tons of people hate it here but they still come because they know its worse if they dont!
